So your family is planning a vacation to the
Disneyland Resort, now you just have to figure out how to get here and how to get around.
Here are some magical travel tips to help you enjoy a smooth ride to, from and around
The Happiest Place on Earth. Arriving by air? Any of these six airports are good options
if you’re planning to visit the Disneyland Resort area. Arriving by car? Simply follow
all the Theme Park signs to the combined parking areas for both the Disneyland Park and Disney
California Adventure Park. Parking structures open 1-hour prior to the published Disneyland
Park opening time. You can also check park hours out on Twitter and Facebook. When you’ve
arrived, getting around is easy. Complimentary parking lot trams shuttle you to the Theme
Parks from the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure. The trams operate until approximately 1-hour
after the last park closes. You can also catch a ride from the Downtown Disney District Monorail
Station directly to Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park. Remember to have your valid admission
to Disneyland Park with you before boarding the Monorail. Most bus and tram routes offered
by Disneyland Resort are serviced by vehicles that can accommodate various types of wheelchairs
and Electric Convenience Vehicles. There’s also a van equipped with a wheelchair lift
available between the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure and the Downtown Disney District.
Staying in Anaheim? You have lots of transportation options here, too. The Anaheim Resort Transit
System provides affordable shuttle service to the Disneyland Resort from area hotels,
the Anaheim Convention Center and other locations. Many Good Neighbor Hotels offer shuttle service,
too. There’s a convenient shuttle and public bus pick-up area located between the Theme
Parks near Harbor Boulevard. Now that your transportation is covered, you can relax and
enjoy everything there is to see and do from day to night at the Disneyland Resort. See
ya here real soon!
