June 26, 2018 Reply Brandon Collins Great review for a great game! Personally, I still prefer Azul slightly, but both are phenomenal games from a company that is just knocking it out of the park. Bravo, Plan B/Next Move! June 26, 2018 Reply Gustavo Gonçalves "point counting" chips? ugh So nobody knows how well they're doing un til the end… : June 26, 2018 Reply Jerome Chan What the hammer. June 26, 2018 Reply SuperLkelley played Azul and loved it – for some reason, perhaps the rather artless design, I'm not drawn to Reef. Guess I'll have to play it to find out. June 26, 2018 Reply Samuel Smith Man, that sunburn hurts me, it’s so red. Props to you for moving around today, sir. June 26, 2018 Reply Tr1pleOseveN Great job as always but as soon as I heard no players interaction I'm out…..😅 June 26, 2018 Reply Jett Jensen Woah, Tom got some major sun! June 26, 2018 Reply Jesse Welch Tom, that sunburn line…were your hands in your pockets all day? June 26, 2018 Reply Steven Gansy Is it just me, or could you pretty easily combine all the boards into one big board for multiplayer games to add more interaction? Seems like it could add a lot more to the game! June 26, 2018 Reply Runehorn Is there a variant where everyone trys to build on a communal board? June 27, 2018 Reply Seth Allison Almost the whole review I though it was played on a common board and this game seemed super stressful until he showed the extra boards. June 27, 2018 Reply Derrek McNab For those in the US, my distributor said the release was delayed to August 2018 due to a misprinting issue they are fixing to make right for everyone. June 27, 2018 Reply Syncopator This one looks good. But these games get reviewed so far in advance, by the time they actually come out, I've forgotten about them. Is Century: Eastern Wonders even out yet? June 27, 2018 Reply AthexTube - Board Games & 3d Printing Thanks for the great review Tom! June 27, 2018 Reply Marty Dmf Ok I was just looking into Azul until I came across this and now I'm leaning towards picking up Reef. However, would still like to know which one would be better for my partner and I. Last game we really enjoyed as 2 player was Akrotiri. I think we especially like the ability not to screw over the other player all that much and just go for your own goals. Keeping that in mind, which of the two would be better to pick up? Cheers! June 27, 2018 Reply Cardboard N' Plastic This is about the only game I saw from origins I’m a bit excited for. Waiting for some good gencon news I hope. June 27, 2018 Reply diosamente First you notice the hat, but those arms! And neck! Ouch Tom, get some aloe on that June 27, 2018 Reply Steven McGoldrick I'm guessing the choice of shapes for the coral is to make it more colour blind friendly; so that should probably count as another positive rather than a negative 🙂 June 29, 2018 Reply Delia Blitz The game would've been much better if it had real hidden information. July 1, 2018 Reply Ozzy Tom, did your arms run away and stay at the beach all day while you were sleeping? Ouch bro. Oh yeah the game looks gr8 too. July 3, 2018 Reply john Do you like games that require any thinking at all anymore? It seems like your taste in games has changed. August 2, 2018 Reply GuJane this game look like azul in 3D August 14, 2018 Reply furstyferret81 The board and cards aren't bright enough form me, looks more deep sea than tropical reef. Also the corals could be a much better shape to look like real types of coral. If I want to buy a board game it has to 'look good' to my girlfriend (like Takenoko) otherwise I can't get her interested in it! September 9, 2018 Reply furstyferret81 Nice hammer, I'm waiting for when you chuck out all the components at the start then just set fire to it all at the end! 😂 September 9, 2018 Reply supercommando440 is there a solo variant of this? October 12, 2018 Reply salty doc $40 for this is steep November 17, 2018 Reply Raul Budusan I think I still prefer Azul, but thanks for the presentation December 18, 2018 Reply BardicLiving Does the size of the Dice-Tower-judgement gavel correspond to how much Tom likes the game?
